Diesel against electric is the first decision and it is settled by where the truck works. Diesel suits outdoor yards, rough ground and long shifts without charging; electric suits indoor and food environments where exhaust is unacceptable. At 1 tonne this is a light truck for pallets and small loads rather than heavy handling. Mast height should be specified against your racking, not your floor space.
