Food Packing Machine

An automatic packaging machine for quantitative filling of pellets, covering rubber, plastic, fertiliser, feed, chemical, grain, building material and metal pellets. The range of materials listed places this machine outside food packing despite where it sits in the catalogue. Rubber and metal pellets are abrasive and heavy; fertiliser is corrosive. Equipment built to handle those is specified differently from equipment built for grain or snack food, in both the contact materials and the feed mechanism. Filling is quantitative, so each pack is made to a set weight or volume rather than by fill level.

Each sealer has independent temperature control, which produces a cleaner and more stable seal and allows a wider range of flexible packing materials to be run. The main control circuit uses a single chip developed in-house with a digital screen display under transducer control. The gearing is simplified, so vibration and wear are low and service life is long. The machine measures 3,770 by 720 by 1,450 mm. It packs biscuits, pies, chocolate, bread, instant noodles, ice cream, moon cake, candy and medicine, as well as hardware, paper boxes and plates.

The second chamber is what the machine is bought for. While one chamber is under vacuum the operator loads the other, so the pump runs continuously instead of waiting through load and unload. Foil composite film is worth noting separately: it blocks light as well as oxygen, which matters for products that degrade under UV rather than through oxidation alone.

It handles puffed chips, herbal medicine, grains, rice, pills, dried fruit, beans, nuts, salt, sugar, tea, seeds and hardware tools. Each scale is fed either by two vibrators or by a pneumatic gate. The dual vibratory feed is what gives the machine both speed and accuracy at once: a coarse feed fills most of the target weight quickly and a fine feed completes it slowly, which is how an electronic weigher hits a tight tolerance without running slowly throughout. There is no mechanical drive, so the machine runs quietly. Construction is entirely stainless steel, easy to clean and corrosion resistant. Bagging is done by hand, with a photoelectric sensor detecting the bag and triggering the blanking. Control is by PLC and the interface is straightforward to operate.

Flow wrapping is the format behind most single-item packaging on a shelf: the product travels through the machine on a belt, film is formed around it, and the bag is sealed and cut in one continuous motion. Sealing temperature is held by vertical PID control. That matters more on a flow wrapper than on most packaging equipment, because film is sealed against a moving product and the window between an unsealed bag and a burnt one is narrow. PID holds the jaw temperature against the load rather than cycling around a setpoint, which is what keeps the seal consistent from the first pack of a run to the last. The machine takes a range of packaging materials, runs at high efficiency and is straightforward to maintain.

Pods are fed into the machine and beater blades strike them, releasing the grain, which falls through the perforated drum sheet onto an apron conveyor below. The conveyor is inclined, so the grain slides down while lighter peel is carried away. The build specification is unusually complete for food equipment of this type. The machine body, rotor and beater blades are made in SS 304, as are the liners, guards, covers and hoppers. The riddle mat and apron conveyor belt are food grade PVC, and the conveyor belt is endless, which removes the joint that on a spliced belt is both the wear point and a lodging place for product. The conveyor runs on stainless steel rollers with a flanged bearing one side and a take-up bearing the other for tensioning.

A pillow wrapper handling food, hardware, daily necessities, medicines, toys, fruit and vegetables and stationery, completing measurement, bag making, filling, sealing, cutting and counting automatically. The machine is built to a modular design, and changing the measuring device converts it to a different product without changing the machine. Packing speed and bag length adjust steplessly within their range with no parts to swap, which is what makes a short production run viable: the changeover cost that normally rules out small batches largely disappears. A powder filling machine for bottles, cans and bags, working in both constant volume and quantitative modes. It fills pesticides, veterinary medicine, premix, additives, milk powder, starch, spices, enzymes, feed, flour and seasoning. The two filling modes exist because powders divide into two groups. A product of stable density can be filled by volume, which is fast; one whose density shifts with moisture or batch has to be filled by weight to hold the declared quantity. Having both on one machine means a change of product does not mean a change of equipment. Control is by microcomputer with hybrid stepper motor drive, giving stable performance, high precision and low noise. A preduster applies starch and food additives to the product surface, and is the first stage of a coating line. Its job is to give the batter something to hold on to: applied directly to bare product, batter slides off, and the thin even starch layer laid down here is what makes the thickness battering stage work at all. The coating is applied fully and evenly across the surface, and the product is carried on a conveyor straight into the next stage. That arrangement is what extends fryer oil life: crumb and batter residue sink through the oil into the water layer beneath and are removed continuously, instead of carbonising in the oil and darkening every subsequent batch. For a producer, oil is a running cost that this directly reduces. Product is carried on double PTFE mesh belts under frequency speed control, and the belts are reversible so both they and the pot can be cleaned properly. Temperature is controlled automatically, which is what gives the finished product a crisp texture and uniform appearance. A compact vacuum packaging machine that extracts air from the bag and seals it once a preset vacuum level is reached. The preset is the useful feature: the cycle ends on a measured vacuum rather than on a timer, so the result is the same whether the bag is full or half empty.
