This machine carries the high drive elevated sprocket undercarriage on a swamp configuration. The raised final drive keeps the drivetrain out of the material the tracks are running through, which on wet and abrasive ground is where most undercarriage damage originates, while the wide swamp tracks hold ground pressure low enough to operate on soft surfaces. It is a combination specified for sustained work on tailings, reclaimed land and wet bulk sites, where a conventional undercarriage would both sink and wear quickly. Hydraulic drive gives the fine track control needed to work such ground without tearing it up. Configuration is built to the buyer's requirement, including against a tender annexure.
