A double-diaphragm plunger pump for moving abrasive, viscous and solids-laden fluids, used in mining slurry, drilling mud, concrete grout, sludge and dewatering duties.
The diaphragm arrangement is what lets this pump handle material that would destroy a centrifugal pump, because the plunger acts on hydraulic fluid behind a diaphragm rather than on the pumped medium itself, keeping abrasive solids away from the working parts. The result is a pump that tolerates slurry at pressure and has a predictable wear part schedule. Flow and head requirements determine the size.
