Agro Gravity Paddy Separator covers the machine that separates unhusked paddy from husked brown rice after the huller, working on the difference in density and surface friction between the two on an oscillating multi-deck tray. Separation at this stage is what allows the paddy fraction to be returned to the huller rather than carried forward, and it is the single biggest influence on head rice recovery in a properly built mill.

Without it, a mill either sends unhusked paddy into the whitener, where it damages the rolls and contaminates the product, or over-hulls to compensate and breaks grain in the process. The adjustment is deck inclination and oscillation against the grain variety and moisture, so the machine has to be set to the crop rather than run at a factory default. Capacity is matched to the huller ahead of it.
