Sterilization System covers thermal processing equipment that reduces microbial load to a defined specification: plate and tubular pasteurisers with heat regeneration, UHT sterilisers, retorts and autoclaves for packed product, tunnel pasteurisers, and microwave sterilisation for spices, herbs and dried products. The specification is not a temperature but a time at temperature, which is why the holding tube and the flow diversion that sends under-temperature product back rather than forward are the parts that actually carry compliance.
Heat regeneration is what makes plate pasteurisation economic, recovering most of the heat by preheating incoming product with outgoing, rather than paying for it twice. For spices and herbs the calculation is different: their value lies in volatile oils that conventional heat treatment drives off, so microwave sterilisation meets the same microbial limits at a lower product temperature and retains substantially more aroma and colour, which is often the difference between export grade and ordinary grade.
Sterilisation equipment is heavily tendered, because microbial limits are set by regulation and by export market requirements rather than by preference. Food corporations, dairy boards, spice boards and export development agencies, public health and food safety authorities, and food safety upgrade projects backed by development bank and donor funding all procure through bidding. We quote against the specification and supply process validation documentation, technical compliance tables, utility figures, origin and warranty declarations, priced spares lists and inspection arrangements.
Tell us your product, flow rate and the microbial specification you must meet, and we will specify the system and quote it.
