Cold Multideck Open chiller covers open-fronted multideck display chillers for drinks, dairy, chilled ready meals and packaged fresh food, presenting product on several shelves with no door between the customer and the goods.
The open front sells more because nothing stands between the customer and the product, and that is the entire commercial argument for it. The cost is energy, since the cabinet is cooling into an open space and relies on an air curtain to hold temperature at the shelf. Night blinds, correct loading below the load line and a shop ambient within the cabinet's climate class are what keep both running cost and product temperature under control; a cabinet overloaded above the load line simply does not hold temperature at the top shelf.
Display refrigeration is procured through tendering by municipal markets and retail development authorities, co-operative and state retail chains, hospital, school and institutional catering, hotel and tourism authorities, defence and police canteens, dairy development boards for retail outlets, and cold chain and retail infrastructure projects financed by development banks. We bid against the written specification and attach capacity and shelf data, temperature class and climate class declarations, energy consumption figures, refrigerant declarations, power requirements, make and origin declarations, warranty terms and inspection arrangements.
Send us your display length, the product and the ambient conditions in the store, and we will specify the cabinet and quote it.
