Pet Food Machine covers dry pet food manufacturing equipment for dog, cat and companion animal kibble: pre-conditioners, single and twin screw extruders, rotary and knife cutters, belt and multi-layer dryers, vacuum and drum coaters for palatants and fat, coolers, and the weighing and bagging machines that finish the line. The extruder sets the density, texture, shape and size of the kibble, and no stage after it corrects those, which makes its specification the decision that carries the most weight in the whole investment.
Formulation decides the machine more than tonnage does. Recipes carrying high fat, fresh meat slurry or high moisture need a twin screw to convey and cook them consistently; a standard dry mix runs perfectly well on a single screw at considerably lower capital cost. Discovering that after delivery is an expensive correction, so we ask for formulations before quoting. Importers and machinery dealers ordering in bulk are quoted on volume, with mixed equipment consolidated into full container loads.
Pet food plant also appears in tendered and funded work, through livestock and veterinary departments, agricultural development programmes, SME and youth enterprise schemes, and co-operative processing centres funded by development banks. We respond directly to tender documents and supply the bid attachments normally asked for: itemised technical offers, country of origin and warranty statements, priced spares lists, installation and training scope, and inspection arrangements where a funder stipulates them.
Send us your formulations, the kibble formats in your range and your target daily tonnage, and we will recommend the configuration and quote it.
