Army Shoes covers service footwear for armed forces, police and security personnel: combat boots, patrol and jungle boots, desert and cold weather boots, parade shoes and general duty footwear, supplied to a customer's own pattern and specification.
Footwear is where procurement economies hurt soonest, because a boot that fails or blisters takes a soldier or officer off duty as effectively as anything else does. Construction and sole attachment method, ankle support, breathability for the climate and the ability to be resoled are what separate a boot that lasts a deployment from one that does not. Terrain and climate should drive the specification directly: a desert boot and a cold weather boot are not interchangeable, and a jungle boot needs drainage a desert boot does not.
Service footwear is tendered in very large lots by defence ministries and procurement directorates, police and paramilitary services, prison and correctional services, border and customs agencies, civil defence and fire services, cadet organisations, and security sector programmes financed by bilateral and international funds. Volume offers are prepared against the specification and carry material and construction specifications, test reports where required, sample approval, size distribution schedules, make and origin declarations and pre-shipment inspection.
Send us your pattern or a sample, the climate and terrain, your size breakdown and quantity, and we will quote on volume.
