Pipelines threaded butterfly valve â a quarter-turn butterfly valve with threaded connections for isolating and regulating flow in process pipework, available in sanitary and industrial specifications.

Butterfly valves are chosen for isolation duty where space is tight and cost matters, since they are compact, light and quick to operate compared with a gate valve of the same size. The specification points are the seat material, which must suit the product and the cleaning chemicals, and the pressure rating.
