Front opening over vests â ballistic overvests that open at the front for rapid donning and removal, worn over a uniform or over existing body armour.

The front opening is the point of the design. A vest that goes on over the head takes time and both hands, which is the wrong arrangement for a rapid response role or for medical access to a casualty wearing it. Front closure solves both. Worn as an overvest it also allows protection to be added over normal uniform when a situation changes, rather than being worn all day. Supplied to a stated protection standard.
