Lobe pumps are used in food duty because they move viscous and delicate product gently, without shearing it, and because the hygienic designs clean in place. The heat jacket extends that to chocolate, fat blends, honey, caramel and anything else that solidifies as it cools, keeping the product mobile through the pump.
