A desktop explosives detector analyses a swab taken from a surface, a bag or a hand and reports whether traces of explosive compounds are present. It is the fixed counterpart to a field kit: slower to deploy but far more sensitive, and it produces a result an operator does not have to interpret by eye. The substance library, throughput and interface are all specified at order, and we build against the tender schedule where one is issued.
