Army Mine Detector
A mine detector is built for a specific and unforgiving task: finding buried ordnance, including devices with very little metal in them, over ground that may be mineralised enough to confuse an ordinary detector. Modern units generally pair an induction coil with ground-penetrating radar so that a low-metal target still produces a response. Soil conditions govern performance more than any headline figure, so the specification starts there. We manufacture to the tender schedule where one is issued.
