Army Walk-through Metal Detector
A walk-through metal detector screens people entering a controlled area and is normally the first fixed element of any security line. What decides whether it works in practice is less headline sensitivity than stability: an archway that false-alarms on a passing trolley or a nearby lift motor will be turned down by staff until it detects nothing. Sensitivity, zone count and interference immunity are specified against the actual installation point, and we build to the tender annexure where one is issued.
