An X-ray baggage inspection system screens bags and parcels on a conveyor and presents the operator with a penetration image rather than a pass or fail. Material discrimination is what makes that image usable: organic, inorganic and metallic contents are separated by colour, so a threat is visible against ordinary clutter. Tunnel size, throughput, penetration and image handling are all specified against the site, and we manufacture to the tender schedule where one is issued.
