Construction 230HP Hydraulic High Drive Elevated Sprocket Crawler Bulldozer
High drive means the final drive sprocket is raised above the track line rather than sitting in it. Doing that lifts the drivetrain clear of the mud, rock and debris the tracks run through, so shock loads from the ground reach the undercarriage rather than the final drives, and the drives themselves can be serviced without breaking the track. On a 230 HP machine working long hours in abrasive material, that arrangement is usually specified for undercarriage life and downtime rather than for output. Hydraulic drive adds independent track control for tight turning and accurate blade work. We build to the buyer's own specification and quote against a tender's technical annexure where one is issued.
