At 430 HP this is the largest dozer in the range, specified for mass excavation, mine overburden and large dam and embankment work. Machines of this size are bought against a production figure in cubic metres per hour, and the blade is sized to the material rather than to the machine. The elevated sprocket undercarriage is standard practice at this weight. Lifting the final drives clear of the track line isolates them from ground shock and allows service without breaking track, which on a machine costing this much per idle hour is the point.
