Conventional Fire Alarm System
A conventional fire alarm system dividing a building into detection zones, with call points and detectors wired to a control panel that indicates which zone has been triggered.
Conventional rather than addressable means the panel identifies the zone, not the individual device, so somebody has to walk the zone to find the actual detector in alarm. In a small building with a handful of zones that is no hardship and the system costs considerably less to buy and install. In a large or complex building it wastes critical minutes and an addressable system is the right choice. Contact EMC Machines Manufactures with your building layout and zone count for a quotation.
