A feed pellet dryer for reducing the moisture content of pellets leaving a pellet mill or extruder, before they are cooled and bagged.
This is the stage most often skimped on in a feed line, and the consequence is mould in the bag during storage, which is a total loss of the batch rather than a quality complaint.
