Food Automatic Raw Cashew Grader
Raw cashew nut arrives from the farm in mixed sizes, and cutting it unsorted is the single most common reason for a poor whole-kernel ratio: a cutter set for one size will crack or miss the nuts that fall outside it. This automatic raw cashew grader sorts incoming RCN into five size grades, marked A through E, at up to 97% grading efficiency. It processes 500 kg per hour, driven by a 1 HP three-phase motor through a gearbox, with a mild steel body finished in grey. Sitting it ahead of the steaming and cutting stages means each grade can then be run through the cutter at its correct setting. For most processors this machine pays back through yield rather than through labour. If you are currently cutting ungraded nut, it is worth measuring your whole-kernel percentage before and after.
