Food Fish Scaler Machine
A compact fish scaling machine measuring 230 by 190 by 240 mm and weighing 9 kg, driven by a 0.1 kW motor approved for continuous use. The electrical protection on this unit is unusually thorough for its size, and it needs to be: scaling is done in constant spray. The machine is security insulated and tested to 400V, and protected against spray water. The drive shaft carries four layers of protection, two of steel, one of insulating compound and one of plastic, and it can be run from either a grounded or a non-grounded wall socket. The ball bearings in the scaling head are waterproof and all external parts are rustproof, with a cover in polyacrylic plastic. Together those give the machine a long service life in an environment that destroys unprotected equipment quickly.
