Potato Chips Slicer Machines
A potato chips slicer rated at 100 kg per hour, used for slicing raw potato ahead of frying. It measures 16 by 13 by 34 inches high and weighs 55 kg, so it occupies a bench footprint rather than a line position. Cutting is done through interchangeable plates, and the plate is what determines the product. A sally plate produces stick chips; a raffle plate cuts crinkle and patterned shapes. Every plate carries an adjustable blade, so slice thickness is set on the machine rather than fixed by the plate fitted. The design keeps broken pieces from depositing in the die, which is the usual cause of stoppages on slicing equipment and the reason thickness drifts during a run. The machine is supplied for potato chip production lines, and is sized for producers making a defined daily volume rather than running continuously.
