A rotary oil spray machine applying a measured film of oil to snack product in a rotating drum, so that powder seasoning applied afterwards has something to adhere to.
This is the first half of a seasoning system and it is routinely under-specified. Powder will not stay on a dry snack, so the oil rate sets the ceiling on how much flavour the product can carry, while too much oil leaves a greasy product and a stained bag. Spray rate is linked to product flow so the ratio holds as the line speed varies. Contact us with your line speed and seasoning rate and we will size the spray system and drum.
